It’s been an interesting second week, don’t you think? I’ll start right out by apologizing if your blog is not linked yet on the Participants’ Page. Some of you have asked if having your blog on the Participants’ Page is the only way to get linked to the program. Let me reassure you that it is not! Registering your blog in the Tracking Log on CMLsi is how you get linked to the program. As I’ve mentioned in a post or two, we’ve had some funny issues with WordPress, so I’m adding all blogs to the Participants’ Page myself. So, if your blog isn’t up there yet, but you have registered it in the Tracking Log, then don’t worry that you won’t get credit for the program! You will! And I’m linking those blogs as quickly as I can!
That being said, maybe I can put things into perspective by telling you that we have–get this–351 staff members, as of this writing, participating in Learn & Play @CML! Isn’t that fantastic?!? OMG!
And the blogs you folks are creating are so neat! All of us on the Learn & Play Team are having a great time reading them. I have learned so many awesome things about people. To me, it makes the CML system feel a little smaller, a little more connected. Do you know what I mean? CML is full of some incredibly talented, inquisitive, and creative people!
So now we’re on to Week 3, where we’ll get to learn and play with one of my personal favorite web tools: Flickr!
Remember, if you haven’t started the program yet, it’s not too late! If you don’t have all of the first four Things done yet, no worries there either. It’s easy to catch up! And if you still have questions about the program after reading the FAQ Page and the Track Your Progress Page, don’t forget to use your coworkers and this blog as resources. Ask questions, learn, and share with each other…!
Way to go, CML Staff!!!!!!!!!!
