Got Questions? We’ve Got Answers! (Episode 2)

Once again, we answer your questions about Learn & Play, this time we’re joined by Art Vandelay:

We have 363 blogs created so far, but it really still is NOT TOO LATE to join in the fun! (Trust me… I’m a little behind on my own Learn & Play stuff, so I’m going to be doing some catch-up myself!)

The DVDs from Michael Stephens’ presentation on The Hyperlinked Library are HERE! Every location should have one, so ask your manager if you weren’t able to catch Michael’s presentation in person. For staff at the Ops Center, check with Kelly Hock or Kathy Warnock.

We had a question from a staff member right as we were getting ready to record this episode and we wanted to share it because it was a great question: What if my blog is not showing up in the Participants’ List? The timing couldn’t have been better because this same question had happened before. In this case, the staff member thought his user name was the title of his blog. All blogs are linked by their title, so if you still don’t see your blog in the list, go into your blog settings and check to see what you titled your blog. I do still have more blogs to link (as more are created), but if you created your blog during the first few weeks of the program, you should be linked!

Another thing we’ve noticed is that there are some savvy staff members out there who are taking to Learn & Play very easily. If you are one of these staff members, we ask that you please let the staff at your location know it! Maybe post a sign on your desk, or send out an email, or just go up and help those that you know might have questions. Remember that helping other and making connections is vital to the program. That’s what makes us lifelong learners!

So… if Gerald says, “Learn!” We say, “PLAY!”
